Esta semana ha salido a la venta nuestro primer juego de tablero, Colonial Space Wars: New Horizons.

Se trata de un proyecto que combina elementos del ajedrez y los wargames clásicos, pero con la novedad de no utilizar dados y emplear fichas cuadradas en vez de miniaturas. El juego, basado en un entorno futurista de ciencia ficción, permite participar hasta 8 jugadores si se combinan las dos ediciones impresas (ingles y española), y dispone de hasta tres tipos de modos de juego diferentes. Cabe destacar que aunque su aprendizaje es sencillo (si lo comparamos con otros wargames) ofrece amplias posibilidades para aquellos jugadores que deseen profundizar en sus reglas avanzadas, incluyendo una mecánica de juego adecuada para organizar competiciones.
Al ser una iniciativa propia de Vedra Games (nos autoeditamos y distribuimos), de momento el juego sólo está disponible en unas pocas tiendas físicas de Granada y nuestra web. Actualmente estamos trabajando en su promoción, y confiamos en que con el tiempo el juego pueda ir llegando poco a poco a más ciudades de nuestro pais.
