Stronghold Games se ha hecho con los derechos para poder editar The Golden Ages, un juego que cautivó a la crítica del año pasado y que originalmente fue publicado por Ergo Ludo Editions, presentado en la pasada feria de Essen.
Este The Golden Ages se trata de un "euro" puro, un juego de civilizaciones donde cada jugador lidera a su civilización a través de 4 eras de la historia. Durante cada era, las civilizaciones desarrollan tecnologías, crean obras de arte, erigen edificios y construyen maravillas. Mandarán a sus exploradores para descubrir nuevos continentes, establecerán asentamientos y ciudades en tierras lejanas y mandarán a sus soldados a la batalla.

The Golden Ages ofrece diferentes maneras de conseguir la victoria. Las civilizaciones pueden hacerse más grande gracias al arte, su historia, las maravillas, la tecnología, poder militar, economía, el secreto de futuras tecnologías y demás... Mediante todo esto citado anteriormente se podrán conseguir puntos de victoria y al final de la partida el jugador que más tenga, será declarado ganador.
Esta nueva edición que cuenta con un mejorado apartado gráfico respecto a la anterior se tiene previsto que salga a la venta a lo largo del próximo mes de octubre.
