Mage wars Academy, el combate de graduación

La compañía Arcane Wonders ha anunciado el lanzamiento de Mage Wars Academy, una nueva versión del juego diseñado por Bryan y Benjamin Pope (cuya publicación en castellano ha sido anunciada por Devir) la edición en inglés de Academy llegará a las tiendas en septiembre/octubre de 2015

Caja básica de Mage Wars Acedemy

Mage wars Academy es un juego de cartas para dos jugadores que esta ocasión acaban de licenciarse en la academia de magos y que, para convertirse en un hechicero de pleno derecho, deberá derrotar a sus compañeros de clase en un duelo de magia.

Colocación Inicial de Mage wars Academy

Mage Wars Academy sigue muchas de las premisas de su hermano mayor pero, a su vez, introduce una nueva forma de juego. Los jugadores deberán de utilizar sus tácticas, astucia y coraje para derrotar a su oponente. En esta ocasión es reducir a cero los puntos de vida de nuestro rival, seguimos contando con nuestro libro de hechizos (completamente compatibles con Mage Wars Arena) La principal diferencia es que el juego es más simple ya que no se desarrolla sobre una arena, si no que ambos magos pelean en una zona determinada, evitando el movimiento, en este sentido una partida es más rápida y la colocación es más sencilla.

Cartas de hechizos de Mage Wars Academy

La caja básica de Mage Wars Academy nos trae dos magos; el Wizar y el Beast Master y lo mejor es que está diseñado pensando para facilitar el paso a Mage wars Arena, aunque esto no ocurre en sentido contrario (Algunos hechizos de arena son demasiado poderosos para jugarlos en una sola zona) si es bueno saber nuestra inversión no se perderá y que siempre podremos jugar a esta versión más compacta en caso de falta de tiempo y espacio. Arcane Wonders tendrá preparadas unas copias para su venta en las Gen Con 2015, mientras que la fecha de lanzamiento está programada para septiembre/octubre en una edición en inglés y otra en alemán.
