La BSK

Patchwork Exprés se unirá al catálogo de Maldito Games en las próximas fechas, la editorial española ha anunciado la salida de su nuevo juego para el 1 de agosto.

Patchwork Exprés como su predecesor, es un juego abstracto diseñado por Uwe Rosenberg. El juego va a salir a un PVPR de 18 €.

Patchwork Exprés se basa en la misma mecánica de juego que el Patchwork original, pero con un área de juego más reducida y con piezas más grandes y menos complejas. Esta versión es una simplificación del juego original, especialmente diseñado para niños y personas mayores.

En este juego de estrategia, cada jugador trata de coser la manta de estilo patchwork más bonita (¡y que más puntúe!) en su tablero personal de 7×7. Al comenzar la partida, los parches de colores se colocan al azar en un círculos, y se coloca el marcador inicial en una localización particular. Cada jugador recibirá unos cuantos botones, que son la moneda / puntos de victoria del juego.

Por turnos, los jugadores compran retales de entre los disponibles y mueven un número de casillas según la complejidad y valor del retal que hayan escogido. A medida que avanzan por el tablero, reciben botones y compiten por conseguir los mejores trozos de tela. También habrá piezas de 1×1 en el tablero, disponibles para el jugador que llegue primero a esas casillas. En un cierto punto de la partida, se añadirán los parches de color azul (más pequeños y, por lo tanto, más fáciles de encajar) al círculo de parches alrededor del tablero. Cuando ambos jugadores han llegado a la casilla central del tablero, la partida finalizará y obtendrán puntos según el espacio que hayan podido rellenar con los retales. ¡La puntuación podría incluso ser negativa! El jugador que haya logrado obtener más puntos será el ganador.

Elaborar una preciosa colcha requiere mucho tiempo y esfuerzo, puesto que los retales disponibles no encajan fácilmente. Escoge tus parches sabiamente, colócalos en tu colcha, acumula una gran reserva de botones y no dejes demasiados huecos... o te costarán la partida.
