Escape Tales The Awakening llegara en castellano bajo el sello de TCG Factory. La editorial española acaba de anunciar el acuerdo por el cual se hace con el escape room mas prometedor de la feria de Essen 2018.

Aun no se conoce fechas de lanzamiento del juego. Pero habrá que estar atento, ante este fabuloso anuncio de un juego con un altísimo componente narrativo.

Escape Tales The Awakening es un juego de cartas basado en los Escape Room que pone especial atención en el componente narrativo. Aquí no estaremos limitados por el tiempo para terminar la aventura porque el juego busca la inmersión en la aventura a través de la historia, los acertijos y la exploración.

Los jugadores tomarán el papel de Sam, cuya hija está en coma desde hace más de 2 meses. Los médicos no dan crédito a lo que le sucede a su hija, todo parece normal en los resultados.

Desesperado, Sam busca otras formas de traer a su hija de vuelta y contacta con Mark, el cual le proporciona un libro en el que se encuentra un ritual llamado El Despertar. Mark advierte a Sam de lo que puede encontrarse tras hacer este ritual que lo trasladara a otra dimensión donde poder encontrar a su hija y comprender que es lo que le pasa.
Rejugabilidad

Escape Tales The Awakening pretende dar un giro de tuerca a la rejugabilidad de los escape room, el juego nos sumerge en un mundo de exploración abierta en el que los jugadores no tendrán acceso a todos los rompecabezas ni a todas las ubicaciones en cada partida. Todo lo que hagamos tendrá un impacto en el resultado final del juego, lo que significa múltiples configuraciones de partida.
Alto componente narrativo

Board & Dice hace especial hincapié en que, Escape Tales The Awakening, es un juego con un alto componente narrativo, que nos sumergirá en una historia de varias horas de duración que incluso puede llevarnos a que una partida requiera de varias sesiones de juego.
