Como muchos sabreis ya, está a punto de salir a la luz el último volumen de la prestigiosa serie de batallas napoleónicas, La bataille, editada por Clash of Arms.

Con la excusa del 200 aniversario de la batalla de Borodino a las puertas de Moscú, que se cumple en el 2012, reeditan -con mucha más calidad- uno de los juegos con los que empezó la serie: "La bataille de la Moscowa".

Los juegos de la serie La Bataille están pensados para ser jugados con la cuarta edición del reglamento, "Regulations of year XXII", que está disponible traducido en castellano, gracias al esfuerzo impagable del besekero Tonijor. Lo podeis encontrar en:

Pero la gran ventaja de este volumen que ahora sale es que incluye el reglamento simplificado "Marie Louise", que solo tiene 25 páginas frente al casi centenar del anterior. Es una buena oportunidad para iniciarse en la serie, con este juego o con otro menos gigante.

Lo he estado leyendo por encima y me da la impresión de que reduce mucho la complejidad sin perder el sabor táctico.

Yo en su día eché un ojo al reglamento simplificado Tactiques Napoleon (http://www.tactiquesnapoleon.com/Tactiques%20Napoleon.html) y me pareció una vuelta de tuerca bastante interesante al incorporar un sistema de órdenes y mando limitado similar al de la serie CWBS the The Gamers así como unas ciertas dosis de niebla de guerra.
