La votación se realiza en varias categorías por los usuarios de la web. Primero se seleccionan los candidatos, después los ganadores de cada categoría y el Juego del Año en la BGG.

Me he quedado un poco frío. De todos los premiados ¿no os parece este el más blandito?

Los usuarios han votado un juego mucho menos "duro" o avanzado que en otras ocasiones, pero sinceramente SPLEndor me parece un juego enorme, muy adictivo y al cual he jugado muchisimas partida y no me canso de jugar. Yo coincido en que es el juego (aunque sea familiar), que mas me ha gustado en 2014. Simple, pero muy directo.

De hecho, hay veces que evito jugarle para dar oportunidades a otros juegos...jejje

Respecto al resto, Dead of winter no lo he jugado, pero no me llama mucho; Star realms me parece muy merecido que haya ganado el de cartas y el de dos jugadores (aunque no aporte nada nuevo).

Respecto a Five tribes e imperial settlers, cuestión de gustos, pero son dos juegazos.

Caylus, Shogun, Agricola, Dominion, Hansa Teutonica, Dominant Species, Eclipse, Terra Mystica y... Splendor. Mirando el palmarés te quedas con el culo torcido viendo el ganador de este año. No es que sea mal juego, pero es que tampoco es nada de otro mundo, un jueguecito como hay muchos. No es que sea un año con lanzamientos de los que quitan el hipo, pero quizás Alchemists o Five Tribes, por poner un ejemplo, me parezcan más merecedores del premio.

Esplendor,como ganador del familiar lo veo bien, pero el general?

Bueno, en cualquier caso es decisión de los votantes.

A mi también me ha dejado un poco "meh".
Y lo contento que estoy yo con mi Abyss que se ha llevado el premio a: Artwork & Presentation  :)
Pena que no se hable apenas de este bonito juego familliar.

A mi lo que me han entrado es ganas de probar el Splendor, me veo haciendome ese rediseño que pulula por la BSK.
En cuanto al ABYSS , que mencionais, yo tengo muchas ganas de catarlo. Espero poder hacerlo por Tabletop Simulator, a ver que tal. Tiene pinta de ser muy majo.
