El juego consiste en que eres un jefe de una familia de la mafia de New York. De ahí "New York Kings)

El tablero representa los barrios del centro de New York, por el que deberos movernos, sea para contratar gente para la familia, sea para aceptar misiones.

Las misiones vienen dadas por "cartas" en forma de teléfono donde pone (por ejemplo): debes venir a buscarme en ..... Y ya te diré donde iremos.
Los lugares viene determinado por unas tokens que sacamos al azar de una bolsa con el nombre del barrio.
Dependiendo de la misión y su peligrosidad, cobraremos una recompsa u otra.

Cada vez habrá 3 misiones distintas a elegir.

La manera de contratar personajes, luchar con otras bandas o enfrentarse con la polica, se hace con dados de poker. Cada personaje contratado tendrá un valor delmdado de poker (9, 10, J, Q, K, As) que se añadirá a la tirada.

A parte tenemos cartas para ayudarnos o putear al contrario.
Estas cartas se pueden vender o intercambiar con otros jugadores.

El primer jugador de cada ronda, se hará mediante subasta oculta, y jugará en primer lugar y a parte moverá la policia que esta en el tablero.
La policia puede arrestar ajugadores contrarios dependiendo del nivel de "implicacion criminal de la mision"
No esta penado llevar viagra a un jefe mafioso pero si que lo está llevar un cadaver en el maletero. Siempre te que te cruzas con la poli, te paran para hacerte un control.
Si te pillan con algo, puedes acabar en la carcel, a no ser que te lies a tiros con ellos...


Resumiendo.
Tiene una mecánica muy fluida y los turnos, no llegan al minuto, por lo que constantemente estás jugando.
