La BSK

Para celebrar 40 años de Othello (también se conoce como "reversi") en Japón, la Asociación de Othello Japonesa y la compañía Megahouse organizan en Tokio un gran evento entre el 23 y 27 de enero de 2013.

Consiste en varios torneos: el tamaño estándar 8x8, 10x10, 6x6 y "8 estrellas" (10x10 quitando 3 casillas de cada esquina); y habrá una competición de equipos. También se jugará a tres de los posibles juegos a los que se puede jugar con Miracle 5, inventado por Goro Hasegawa.

Los participantes serán entre 30 y 40 japoneses (entre clasificados directamente e invitados), y un número similar de jugadores del resto del mundo (invitados de entre los mejores del mundo, la mayoría).

Por España, animaremos a Borja Moreno, ganador del último nacional británico. Actualmente hay un grupo en Facebook de "Jugadores españoles de Othello". Se podrá seguir el campeonato por Internet.
