El último banquete. Un nuevo juego para grandes grupos y sin eliminación

Gracias a Fantaside, en este hilo, me entero de un nuevo juego para grandes grupos, sin eliminación.

El último banquete para entre 6 y 24 jugadores




2 facciones palaciegas de igual número de componentes, intentará que este sea el último banquete del rey. El rey , en la soledad del trono, intentará desesperada ( y la mayoría de veces infructuosamente) defenderse.


en esta foto se ven algunos componentes. Los colgantes de unicornio, torre y rosa son los distintivos de las facciones. Cada jugador que pertenece a una facción, se cuelga el distintivo que le corresponde. Hay diversos escenarios, el básico es con 2 facciones+ familia real, pero pueden haber hasta 4 facciones si lo he entendido bien.




A modo de ejemplo:

Para 11 jugadores, hay dos facciones de 5 jugadores , y el Rey está solo.

Para 24 jugadores ( el máximo) , hay dos facciones de 10 miembros, y la familia real está formada por Rey , Reina, Princesa y primer caballero


Cada jugador selecciona un rol , con un poder determinado.luego cada grupo, en secreto, decide qué jugador es el asesino de su bando.

Los jugadores se sientan en circulo, el objetivo del juego es que el asesino de uno de los dos bandos se acabe sentando al lado del rey.. momento en el que le matará y dará la victoria a su bando. El rey tiene algunas acciones a su disposición, como vetos, para intentar defenderse.

Pero en un ataque de frikismo desbocado, he usado el traductor online para traducir al ingles las primeras paginas, con una partida de ejemplo. Así os podreis hacer una idea del juego, mientras esperamos a una traducción mas completa.

" The last banquet and other courtly intrigues " is an interactive and communicative group game for 6 to 25 players. It can be played to different occasions, like birthdays, parties, weddings, youth trips, jubilees, conferences, seminars or simply so. The players form at beginning a game circle from seats (chairs, pillows, towels, etc). Besides, every player disposes of own clearly separated place. The fundamental rules enclose 5 sides and are to be thought in the title scenario " the last banquet " from page 7. The players divide themselves in different groups which pursue their own game aims according to scenario. They can scheme in the royal court, prove themselves at night and fog as couriers, inheritance affairs regulate or are also confronted with an apparition.

The game aims are reached by aimed exchanging and shifting of players and by skillful changing of the place order. A scepter herumgegebenes in the game circle determines, in this connection, the train order and marks the player active in each case. A game usually goes about several rounds, so that the players have several attempts to move the moves arranged in own group. At least once in every round every player is active and is included, besides, in the actions of the other players with. Every player takes part up to the end, there is not an elimination. If a party reaches their game aim, all players of this party win together.


According to scenario the players divide themselves in two or several parties and receive for their party own badge with a symbol (for example: unicorn, tower, rose, etc) on which itself every player puts. Then every player can select to himself a character ticket. The scenario gives the availability of the characters and the order of the assignment. On the character ticket information is specified to the represented person, their behavior and their action possibilities in the game.

Then every party for itself has opportunity to discuss the game aims of the scenario and to forge plans. In the title scenario " the last banquet " for example, the parties must have a certain person (dagger porter or poisonous porter) to a fixed moment (round end) near another certain person (king) platziert to be able to implement a business (assassination attempt). The players should familiarize themselves with the action possibilities of their own character ticket and to those of their fellow players and consider together which movements and combinations can lead to the success. In this connection, should be respected to the severest secrecy!

If all players agree, they place themselves in the prepared game circle and the host certain by the scenario (for example, the king) opens the game, while he gives the scepter to the left or on the right in the round. At the beginning of a game round all players stand on their place. A standing player can act if him the scepter reaches. After his action he sits down and hands on the scepter in the direction of travel certain by the host to the next player. An already sitting player who gets the scepter has already acted and passes through the scepter.

The following example round shows specified some moves and possibilities. The fundamental rules are to be thought in the title scenario " the last banquet ". He gives to his friend Robert the character ticket "queen" who joins with it to the "king". The character ticket gives whether the player appears as a lady or man in the game and not the real gender of the player. As well well Isabelle could have represented the "king". Remaining 12 players divide themselves in two groups equal in size (2x6 player). A group gets from the king 6 roses as a party mark, the other 6 unicorns. After in this way every party is fixed, the players begin with the choice of their characters. Andrea,

as a follower of the party rose the character ticket "magician" chooses itself. Grinning Klaus, the friend of Andrea, but in the game to the party selects to himself unicorn belonging, the "duke". " Now so done, the "king" greets the "baron" near himself who still stands now as a single player and belongs to the party of the "rose". The scepter is passed up to the "baron".

Now it becomes dangerous. Since should the "baron" be the dagger porter as a "rose" to renounce bräuchte he only his action and to sit down there and then to be near the king in successful position. Should he use his action possibility to exchange his place with that of the "witch", this of all foresight would be after the dagger porter of the "roses". However, for it would get the ""king and queen" one victory point, because they have already marked the "witch" as a supposed dagger porter.Surprisingly the "baron" exchanges his place with the bard who sits now near the king and smiles at him confident of victory. And with it is also clear, why she has played for the dance and has moved with it the "baron" near the "king". The erspielte place exchange with the "baron" was their single chance to come still in this round near the "king". The "king" will not probably survive the hors-d'oeuvre and the victory point for the group goes with it to the party "rose".

Should the suspicion be confirmed, however that the duke was the poisonous porter of the party "unicorn", got the ""king and queen" for the exposure of the "duke" a victory point. If the smear of the "witch" had also been correct, would have got "king and queen" even 2 victory points. A good start for the running game evening and own points account.

Esta gente estaba en Essen aunque el juego aún no le habían sacado. Me quedé fascinado viendo los dibujillos de los personajes colgados por su stand y sólo por eso entro en mi güislist. Luego me enteré de que era un tipo de party multitudinario y entonces se refrenó el ansía (siempre está bien tener de estos pero luego no resulta tan sencillo sacarlos y si la caja es grande pues te ocupa un espacio en la estantería que podría ocupar algo más útil) pero aún así me llama la atención.

Horak, gracias, por recordarme su existencia.

La verdad es que a priori parece un juego divertido. Pero habrá que leerse las reglas a fondo y los roles. Eso si, las ilustraciones son una pasada
